TheVJ.com is a platform for professional online training, providing in person boot camps related to video literacy and has a variety of courses ranging from Shooting, Journalism etc. The VJ is founded by Lisa Lambden and Michael Rosenblum as a platform for professional training.
The VJ contacted us for the improvisation for their website as there were many broken backend issues and old legacy codes present.
THE CHALLENGE
The Himalayan Company The Himalayan Company implemented Python with Django framework for fixing UI and broken backend issues and improvising the old legacy code present. The technology used by our developers is python and we mainly focussed on the improvement of the user interface as well as we worked on the broken backend libraries of the website. We worked on python in the Django framework which is a high level python web framework that encourages rapid development and clean, pragmatic design. This framework was used since it is ridiculously fast, reassuringly secure and exceedingly scalable. This enables rapid development of secure and maintainable websites.
Earlier the website VJ.com contained many broken backend libraries and all of these troubleshooting were done with the help of rich library strength of python language. Working on the backend libraries and fixing the legacy codes helped the front end part of the website to work appropriately.

OUR APPROACH
Our developers have improved the user interface by applying graphical icons, easy access to video interviews and other options available on the website. Other troubleshooting done includes the removal of pretty old codes which caused the website to lag while accessed.
